Arugula salad and grilled sandwich Recipe

This recipe was offered by Stéphane Postoyan, sous-chef at Sofitel Chicago Hotel.

A Chef has tastings all day long and this is the perfect way to have a nutritious yet balanced meal.

Time to make about 20 minutes.

Preheat oven to 400 F.   Ingredients for one person:

  •          Flatbread
  •          Dijon Mustard
  •          1 tomato
  •          2 slices of smoked ham
  •          2Tsp grated Parmesan Cheese
  •          Arugula or Roquette Salad
  •          For the dressing: 1tsp raspberry vinegar, 2 Tsp oil, salt and pepper to taste.


Spread Dijon mustard on your flatbread. Then add the sliced tomato, two slices of smoked ham and the grated Parmesan cheese. Broil in your oven for about 12 minutes to 400 F.

While this is grilling, prepare your raspberry vinaigrette and pour on the Arugula salad.      Enjoy the salad with your warm sandwich!
